Fatin has been gracious enough to invite me to Novel Thoughts to tell you about my two releases from Ellora’s Cave. I’m grateful for this opportunity, as well as a bit nervous because I’m still getting comfortable with the idea of marketing my work and giving author interviews.

Body Candy, my newest release, is part of the Sweet theme series of Quickies from Ellora’s Cave. I had a blast writing Body Candy, which actually helped me break through a bad case of writers block. It had to be quick, hot, and I had to be able to tie the plot up in a short time. It was like a brilliant writing exercise, which resulted in a fun read.

Sophia Maddox is not only living her dream, but her fantasies, creating edible Body Candy to aid in sexual fulfillment. Until a sexy detective knocks on her door and threatens to expose her secrets. Little does he know, Sophie will do anything to protect those secrets, even using him as a sexual guinea pig for her newest candy creation.

Though not what he seems, Brody Burkett must investigate a murder, save his silent partner, and prevent his death. But add Sophie to the mix and his sweet tooth—and desire for her—can’t be satiated, even with both of their lives in danger.

Leather and Lace is my debut novel, and has surpassed all my dreams as it has just been released by Ellora’s Cave in print. Leather and Lace is now available on Amazon.com and Amazon.com.uk, which is still a bit surreal for me.

Ex-cop turned private investigator Cleo Tanek receives a mysterious request to follow and document billionaire Lukas Nathanial Lace’s every move. What she soon discovers, however, is that Lace has been marked for death and that the information she provided will assist in carrying out his murder.

Unable to control the desperate heat that ignites between them, they succumb to a night of hot, passionate sex. Cleo then learns that her mysterious client is a senator whom she believes ordered the hit. She must tell Luke the truth, keep him alive and somehow blow the senator out of the water.

With a fetish for leather and handcuffs, and the need to be in control, Cleo is fascinated by her irrepressible urge to submit to Lace’s every whim, and the dominant role he assumes over her body, mind and soul. Cleo discovers that leather and lace is a deadly combination.

I love writing strong female heroines who can handle themselves and whatever might come their way, not to mention a hot hero and wildly passionate sex. I’m a huge fan or romantic suspense and definitely love to write what I love to read.

I’m currently working on a vampire novel with a twist that ended up being split into two books. I’m plotting a werewolf/shifter novel set in the north woods of Minnesota, as well. I’ve always loved the paranormal genre, and have spent years trying to think of something fresh and new. I’m addicted to the new series, True Blood on HBO, which helped renew the desire to dwell into the paranormal.

I look up to many fellow authors at Ellora’s Cave and have been lucky enough to be taken under their wing. I won’t dare mention any names, for fear of missing someone vital, but their quality of work is inspiring to a ‘newbie’ such as myself.

You can read more about me or contact me via my website @ www.taylortryst.com or visit my blog at http://taylortryst.blogspot.com where I sometimes interview fellow Jasmine-Jade authors.

Thanks for this opportunity, and I hope you enjoy either Body Candy or Leather and Lace.
