Talking with Taylor Tryst

Fatin has been gracious enough to invite me to Novel Thoughts to tell you about my two releases from Ellora’s Cave. I’m grateful for this opportunity, as well as a bit nervous because I’m still getting comfortable with the idea of marketing my work and giving author interviews.

Body Candy, my newest release, is part of the Sweet theme series of Quickies from Ellora’s Cave. I had a blast writing Body Candy, which actually helped me break through a bad case of writers block. It had to be quick, hot, and I had to be able to tie the plot up in a short time. It was like a brilliant writing exercise, which resulted in a fun read.

I love writing strong female heroines who can handle themselves and whatever might come their way, not to mention a hot hero and wildly passionate sex. I’m a huge fan or romantic suspense and definitely love to write what I love to read.

I’m currently working on a vampire novel with a twist that ended up being split into two books. I’m plotting a werewolf/shifter novel set in the north woods of Minnesota, as well. I’ve always loved the paranormal genre, and have spent years trying to think of something fresh and new. I’m addicted to the new series, True Blood on HBO, which helped renew the desire to dwell into the paranormal.

I look up to many fellow authors at Ellora’s Cave and have been lucky enough to be taken under their wing. I won’t dare mention any names, for fear of missing someone vital, but their quality of work is inspiring to a ‘newbie’ such as myself.
