We have a cover reveal! Yay!

Ryan Porter is a sculptor, and beneath his callused hands, even the most rigid metals bend to his will. So, too, does his girlfriend Megan—a confident, strong woman who delights in submitting to Ryan’s dominance in the bedroom.

Megan is a Mountie, and she’s spent the past few years in the arctic following her career dreams. Family obligations kept Ryan at home, but their love survived the distance thanks to several hot visits. A Mountie always gets her man, and Megan is bound and determined to keep Ryan.

Now Megan’s with Ryan for the holidays…but how long will this visit last? She’s always been willing to do anything Ryan desires, but will he finally tell her that all he needs for Christmas is her?

The blurb

He won’t stay put for a woman, and she won’t chase after any man…

Mitch Kowalski lives out of a suitcase—and he likes it that way. Traveling for work has the added bonus of scaring off women who would otherwise try to tie him down. But when he’s called home to help with the family lodge, he’s intrigued by the new girl in town and her insistence that she doesn’t need a man. If there’s one thing Mitch can’t resist, it’s a challenge.

After a nomadic childhood, Paige Sullivan is finally putting down roots. Determined to stand on her own two feet, she lives by the motto “Men are a luxury, not a necessity.” But when Mr. Tall, Dark and Hot pulls up a stool in her diner and offers her six weeks of naughty fun with a built-in expiration date, she’s tempted to indulge.

They’re the perfect match for a no-strings fling. Until they realize their sexy affair has become anything but casual…

Mitch Kowalski is back in town and not a lot has changed. He’s still the love ’em and leave ’em hottie that kept the gossips going in his younger years and has no desire to change. Paige doesn’t want anything to do with a man determined not to stick around but it’s hard to say no to Mitch.

All He Ever Needed was exactly what I’ve come to expect from a Shannon Stacey book. A sexy hero and a heroine that isn’t afraid to stand up for herself, witty banner, and off the charts chemistry. And, no matter how many books I’ve read by this author, I’m always surprised at the emotional punch. When Paige decides to protect herself from more heartbreak, I got choked up. Wrapped up in a HEA that gave me the warm fuzzies, it was the perfect contemporary romance for me.

Jordan Cross has returned to Holiday, Montana after eleven long years to clear out her late aunt’s house, put it on the market, and figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life. Soon, she finds herself facing the town that turned its back on her because she was different. Because being labeled a witch in a small town didn’t earn her many friends…especially when it wasn’t a lie.

Matt Cooper has lived in Holiday his whole life. He’s perfectly content being a bachelor alongside his four single brothers in a very small town. After all, the only woman he’d ever loved ran out on him without a goodbye. But now Jordan’s back and just as bewitching as ever. Can they rekindle their romance with a town set against them?

Warning: Contains an intelligent, sexy witch with an attitude and drop-dead gorgeous man who likes to work with his hands, holds a secret that might scare someone, and really, really, likes table tops for certain activities. Enough said.

In the 11 years Jordan has been away from Holiday, not much has changed. The town people are still judgmental and Matt Cooper is still the man that owns her heart. As Jordan tries to survive in a town that hates her, Matt is right by her side just like was when they were younger and it isn’t long before the attraction that never went away roars back full-force.

I really enjoyed the chemistry between Jordan and Matt. The spark was there from the first page and watching the flirtation turn to hot tabletop sex was a lot of fun. I also liked Matt’s brothers and the two friends Jordan made in the town and I hope their stories will be coming soon.

I did have a couple of issues with Charmed Spirits. The villains of the story and their dialogue were very clichéd. Rich, blonde, in charge of the town, etc. I’ve read about characters just like them hundreds of times and I would have like to see a little more depth to them and some motivation to their actions. I also didn’t understand the resolution to Matt’s problem/secret. I can’t say much without revealing spoilers but the fix was left unexplained and I wanted more.

Charmed Spirits was a solid first book in this new series and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes.
