TAKING A SHOT by Jaci Burton comes out March 6, 2012 through Berkley Heat. If you’re a fan of the series and of Jaci, you know that with each of her Play-By-Play books (THE PERFECT PLAY, CHANGING THE GAME & TAKING A SHOT), she’s ordered oversize postcards that I’ve sent out to anyone who has sent me an email requesting one. Recently I did the mailing for the TAKING A SHOT postcards and was slightly giddy to receive an email from the model on the cover. Jason Vendryes. We finally have a name for the guy on the cover that everyone has been oohhing and ahhing over. I know most of you did more than ooh and ahh but I’m keeping it clean for this post. Hehe.

Emailing back and forth with him, I took the leap and asked if it would be possible to send him a stack of the postcards for him to sign and return to me so I could use them in giveaways. The worst that could happen was he’d say no, right? Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? I won’t lie and say I didn’t already think that going in, before I sent him the email. I figured he was too busy to even reply to the email, let alone say yes to me BUT, that’s exactly what happened. He was ever the gentleman and was more than willing to sign however many postcards I sent him. So I did. And he signed & returned them & here’s one of the pretties that arrived on Friday.

Signed, sealed & delivered, baby! Woot Woot!
