COLTERS’ WOMAN (book 1 of the Colters’ Legacy series) is the book started my love of erotic romance and it’s been the one that I compare other books in this genre to. Last year, COLTERS’ LADY came out and it made me fall even more in love with this family. Now we have reached the conclusion of this series.

Callie was my type of heroine from the beginning. She had already thrown a drunken college boy through the window of her brother’s bar and she doesn’t hesitate to “express” herself to Max when he shows up.

It took me a few chapters to warm up to Max. He wasn’t what I was expecting. I’ve become used to the strong, gentle, and caring men of the Colter clan and that’s not Max. He’s a little arrogant with some rough edges. But as I continued to read, I discovered that Max is hiding behind that arrogance. He realizes what he has lost and he is afraid that the secret he is hiding will cost him the most important thing is his life. I couldn’t help but root for the hero that is willing to lay it all on the line for love.

It makes me sad to say goodbye to my favorite fictional family but this was the way to do it.  A strong heroine, a sexy hero, smoking hot love scenes, tons on emotions (grab some tissues!), and an ending that left me sighing.
