This book, Pregnant by the Warrior is sort of an unofficial anniversary for me. It’s my tenth release with Harlequin.   Since I’m now writing Nocturnes along with the medievals, I’m glad #10 is a medieval.  Don’t get me wrong, I love paranormal romances as much as the next person, but medieval romances – the 12th century in particular – feel more like home.  And while the historicals are actually more work for me, because of the research aspect, they’re more fun to write.

I’m pretty certain that if asked, many, if not most, historical authors would admit to loving the research, and I’m no exception.  I’ve been known to miss appointments, burn dinner and not hear what’s being asked because my nose was buried so deep in research material that the world around me simply didn’t exist.  More than once the local university had to kick me out so they could close.
