When love is threatened by truth, every moment counts…

Circle of Friends, Book 2

Steve Sommers is having a gut-wrenching week. His fiancée has left him, the woman who broke his heart is back in town—and they’re all gathered at the bedside of his best friend, who’s in a coma. The emotional ties between them are strained to the breaking point. Like it or not, it’s up to Steve to find the strength and compassion to support the four of them through the toughest ordeal of their lives.

In the midst of the turmoil and trauma, passion unexpectedly flares anew between Steve and the woman he loves. Suddenly the future he’d believed lost lies within his reach. But she still carries the secret that once tore them apart, and determined to protect Steve from the truth, she fights their rekindled relationship every step of the way.

Now the fragile bond they’ve developed hangs in the balance, threatened by a reality that love may not be strong enough to overcome…

Warning: This book might just make you cry, but it’ll make you smile as well. The story will probably get you all hot and bothered too. It contains naughty activities in the car, sex on the kitchen counter (and up against the wall), a quickie in the garden, a little experimenting with scarves—oh, and some hot loving in the bedroom.

Hi Fatin – thanx for inviting me over again. I’m really happy to be here to tell you about Steve’s Story, the sequel to Only Tyler in the two book series “Circle of Friends.” The book releases at the end of the month at Samhain (April 28th), and I can’t wait. It’s a contemporary, erotic romance, and it’s hot! Hot and heart wrenching. In fact, if you’re going to read it, I suggest you have a box of tissues handy.

See the truth is I am a sucker for sequels and for ensuring all my characters get their happy endings. Initially, when I began working on Only Tyler I had no intentions of writing more than one book. The story was quite clear: A love triangle between three best friends, Katie, Tyler and Steve. I’d known all along how the book would end, I just wasn’t sure how the dramas would play out. What I didn’t bank on was that Steve would become so important to me.

I guess I fell a little in love with him. Hmm, maybe that’s because he displays all those wonderful characteristics I love in a man: He’s intelligent, funny, warm, kind, sexy, gorgeous (blond hair, blue eyes: my favorite) and oh so lovable. But more than that, he’s human, and he’s been hurt badly.

As the story line for Only Tyler slowly unfolded, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Steve needed his own book. How did I know? Steve told me. He introduced his own issues and problems I’d had no idea existed. But once he revealed them, I couldn’t let them go unresolved.

Have you ever heard the old expression you’re only given as much as you can cope with? Well, Steve has troubles thrown at him from every direction. A lesser man would break under his psychological stress. Believe me, Steve is pushed to the limit. Nope, he doesn’t have to save the world from imminent destruction, or challenge an opponent to a sword fight ‘til the death. But he does have to weather emotional trials that’ll break your heart. I suspect, like me, you’ll fall in love with him as he faces each challenge with as much dignity and strength as he can dig up under the circumstances.

Steve’s Story is first and foremost a romance. Underlying the tension and the stress of Steve’s challenges is a very powerful love. A love that Steve must fight tooth and nail for if he is to get his woman. There’ll be times in the book when you might despair of him ever finding his happy ending. But as I said, this is a romance, and what would a romance be if it didn’t have its happy ending?

Love…or friendship? Does she really have to choose?

Circle of Friends, Book 1

Katelyn Rosewood is facing a moral dilemma, one that’s six-foot-two, sexy as sin—and her fiancé’s best friend. Katie spent a lot of time getting over Tyler Bonnard, but now that he’s back in Sydney, he’s turning her carefully reconstructed world upside down.

Her relationship with Steve Sommers may be short on heat and desire, but after Tyler left her two years before, she’ll take security and solid friendship over wild passion any day. Except Tyler seems to have a good—if outrageous—explanation for why he’s returned.

After a tragic family secret tore him out of Katie’s life, Tyler is glad to be back with his two best friends. But one thing is out of place: Katie’s in the wrong man’s arms. And if her reaction to his return is any indication, she’s not quite over him. Which could mean hope for Tyler, heartbreak for Steve…

And another devastating loss for Katie, who must choose between the man to whom she’s committed her future, and the man who still holds her heart.

Warning: Keep a tissue or two handy while reading this book. While it does contain a few steamy love scenes, the rest of the story might just make you cry.
