One conference, two friends, two men who know how to take care of business.
After leaving the wrong man, Leah Griffin’s not ready to look for the right one. All she wants is to survive the conference she’s planning and spend some time with her best friend Kate Edwards. She’s not expecting the conference services manager to be so tall, dark and handsome…or so eager to please. It’s Brandon Long’s job to make Leah happy, but after a scorching interlude in her hotel room, neither can deny business has become pleasure.
Smart, driven and successful attorney, Katherine Edwards has spent her life making the right choices. Directly counter to those right choices, she’s involved in a long distance, secret love affair with a co-worker. Charles Dixon is a bad choice she can’t help but make – over and over. A conference and a promotion bring Kate back to Pennsylvania and suddenly, Dix wants far more than a few nights in random hotel rooms. He wants something permanent and Katherine has to figure out if sometimes a wrong choice isn’t exactly what a woman needs.

HI Melissa and Fatin! Thanks for having us today!
Hi Lauren and Megan:
I can’t watch your video because I’m at the day job but I wanted to stop by and congratulate you both on TCOB. Wonderful read, and I wish you every success.
Best Regards
Lea
Hi Fatin and Megan and Lauren!!!
Great video!! I don’t write but (and hopefuly this doesn’t make me sound crazy) but I have to have music or a DVD that is musical on when I clean house! I just do a better and quicker job of it when there is music on! Now the crazy thing is my very favorite thing to listen to while I clean is The Wizard of Oz movie/soundtrack!!! LOL
I LOVED TCOB!! I also wish you both the very very best for release day!!!
you two go so well together as partners as was obvious on the video I just watched; loved it.
Some of the songs I’ve never heard of but really enjoyed the little bit we were privileged to hear.
Congrats on TCOB.
Okay, so now I get the gest (I think) thanks to my friend Blanche. 🙂
I listen to music all day while at work (I would be lost without my faithful iPod). Then the music is on again in the evening when blogging etc.
I don’t know when I will get out of here tonight but maybe I’ll be able to watch your video later.
Thanks Blanche! lololololol
Ladies thanks for an entertaining video! 😀 If my computer was not so lousy, I would have enjoyed more than every 3rd word… buffering stinks! Anyway thanks again!
Lea – thank you so much.
Blanche – that doesn’t sound crazy at all! For me, music makes most tasks easier and more fun. I’m glad you liked TCOB!
Robyn – awww, thanks!
Colleen – I can’t watch my own vblogs from my desktop where I do most of my writing. My connection times out up there.
Thanks, ladies! Sorry about the video quality, we tend to blab and blab, and bigger vids result in lower quality sometimes!

Happy Release Day, Lauren and Megan. I love Feist, too. I think 1234 and Sealion are my favorites.
Happy release day!
As always, watching your video blogs always gets me laughing. Happy release day, and thanks for giving us some new songs to check out.l
Congrats on TCOB! I am sure I will enjoy it.
Oh I can’t wait. I’ve already read every excerpt I can get my hands on!!!
Love how the whole story came to be, that’s just too COOL!
Can’t wait to see what happens with all the characters!
Congratulations on yet another..BIG Release!!
🙂
Dana
(Donna Summers ‘she works hard for the money’, always gets me up and moving…love Donna)
Trying to find the video – was it the one posted on the 30th; if so, It is no longer available….
Loved the video. Just wanted to come by and say hi and wish both of you happy release day. My copy of TCOB is on it’s way from Amazon.
Love the video! I was giggling out loud at work, you wild women!! 😛 Happy release day. LOVE YOUR Glasses Lauren!
love this and need to check those songs out some more. Do you have soundtracks listed on your website for each book?
Hm, the video quality was a bit weird for me. LOL ok so I recognize a lot of the songs, but >.< I never know song titles or artists. Omg I PASSIONATELY LOVE. “Crash.” I listened to it on repeat from the Grand Canyon back to Vegas… to drown out the horrible bus driver…
Haha, and the two of you seemed to really like saying Portishead 😛 I totally heart Feist too. Hahaha Ying Yang Twins. Yesss.
Congratulations and happy release day!
Oh so been looking forward to this book Lauren and Megan! I remember even when the cover came way early and been anticipating it!!!
Sorry, I’m deaf so I can’t hear anything on the video. Can you let me know what you spoke of? I can’t hear music so I probably wouldn’t know what they meant either, so its ok.
Duh, dopey me – the video was right there. Was looking for a previous post. LOL.
Cyclops – I love Feist! Lonely Lonely and My Moon My Man are my two faves but her voice is wonderful!
Estella – Thank you!
Cathy – LOL, glad to amuse!!
Tracy – thanks, I hope you do!
Dana – thanks, I hope you like it. Donna Summer is so underrated, which is sad! On the Radio is one of my faves ever.
Pat – glad you found it, thanks for stopping in to say hey/
Greta – aww, thanks!
Rachie – thanks, I like em too!
Pam – yes I do. On the book pages at my website there’s a tracklist
Caffey – yes, it was a video blog about music and the prizes are music downloads.
