Lust was the lure, Candy was the reward.

Walking around with a raging hard-on isn’t Blade Vaughn’s idea of a good time. He’s hungry for sex and there’s only one woman on his menu: Candice Warner. When Blade witnesses the shy beauty go into a panic over a harmless encounter, he’s more determined than ever to prove that sex with him is just the therapy she needs.

Candice is used to being afraid of her own shadow, but when she goes all nutso in front of Blade, she’s beyond mortified. She wants him to see her as an equal, and as a woman. It’s time she got over her past trauma and started living again.

But trust is hard to come by when her only experience with men has left her heart in pieces.

Taking friendship to a whole new level…

Lacey Vaughn is tired of being dumped on by men. It’s clear she needs help in the ways of seduction. Over cappuccinos, Lacey shares her worries with pal Nick Stone. Being the good friend that he is, Nick offers to give Lacey a few pointers in the ways of sexual pleasure. From his first touch, Lacey forgets all about lessons. Now all she wants is more of his luscious body and skillful touches.

Nick’s craved Lacey for months. He’s done watching her waste herself on losers. It’s time she saw him as more than the dreaded good friend. He’ll do nearly anything to have the little spitfire all for himself.

But in order to get Lacey past her insecurities, Nick will have to put it all on the line—including his heart—and pray he doesn’t lose her forever.

Great Moments and Great Characters

I’ve been writing since 2003. The first things I submitted were never even rejected, as I never actually received a rejection letter. Apparently, I was either that bad or that unimportant. LOL After waiting for months and months on a few publishers who couldn’t even take the time to send me a letter saying ‘no thanks’, I decided to take some time off from writing and research my craft a little. I learned a lot! Everything from how to write a query letter to sagging middles (and I’m not talking about waistlines, lol). After I felt more confident, I picked the pen up again and started again. This time when I submitted, I did get a rejection letter. Hey, at least I’d moved up from being a nobody to someone worthy of a ‘no thanks’! LOL

What did I do next? I went back to the beginning. Researching, attempting to figure out what I was doing wrong. At last, I’d figured it out. It wasn’t that I was writing crappy stories, they just weren’t very clean. So, I went back to that first manuscript and basically gutted that sucker. This time when I submitted, I got a contract. Still I worried about being a ‘one hit wonder’, yikes! I didn’t start to breathe easy until I signed my second contract.

There’s been lots of stumbles along the way, but my greatest success to date is my newest release, Tasting Candy. This story sits at the very top of my personal list of favorites. Candice Warner is a victim of date rape and she’s closed herself off from men. In comes the hunky, strong, sensitive, Blade Vaughn. He coaxes Candice out of her self-imposed isolation and teaches her that love is a beautiful thing, when it’s with the right person. It’s a love story that I think a lot of women can relate to. Candice is smart and strong, but vulnerable too. Blade is way out of his depth, because he’s so used to being the big bad Alpha. He’s so incredibly lovable and has a tender core that will make you ache to hug him—or more, hehe!

Anyway, I want to know from you, the reader, what is it about a character that really makes you remember them….well after you read that last page?

****Don’t forget to leave a comment! One reader will receive a download of both, TASTING CANDY and TOUCHING LACE. Good Luck!
