Hi everyone and thanks Fatin for inviting me! The timing is excellent because this week I have a new release which I am very excited about. So in celebration I have three books to giveaway. But first, welcome to the world of The Knights of White! A world where good must defeat evil and the weapon of choice is, indeed, an alpha male holding a sword. If these heroes want to win their mates though, they’ll have to slay the uncertainties within their hearts and prove their love.
The series idea came from a trip I took to Brownsville, Texas, several years ago. While driving to the small border town, we drove through a Ranch that is bigger than all of Long Island. One thing led to another, and a conversation started about the Mexico border town not far from Brownsville where there is a legend known as the “Matamoros Beasts.” From there, the ideas began to evolve and the ranch became a home to demon hunters: The Knights of White who are overseen by the Archangel Raphael. The funny thing about the beasts is a lady has sworn she captured one and it was all over the news recently. I couldn’t believe it! But then, most legends are based on some semblance of twisted truth. The creature was nothing like what I picture for my books but it was indeed quite scary.
Now you know a little about The Knights of White. Onward to prizes! Simply post and tell me a little about you and recommend a favorite book for us all to enjoy. Then Fatin can choose the winners from a drawing of everyone who posts.
I will leave you with a little blurb and a link to a discount for the book. Harlequin has it on sale the rest of this month…

I look forward to hearing everyone’s book recommendations!

The Beast Within
Only Passion Can Sooth the Beast Within…
Known only as Jag, he leads the Knights of White against the soulless Darkland Beasts who took his wife and his life. Jag is immortal, destined to live with the vengeance he feels in his heart. And the dreams that haunt his soul. Sensual dreams of a woman. Dreams that threaten to unleash the beast within…
Karen Gibson is an innocent mortal, unwittingly thrown into this millenia-old battle, and, unwillingly, under Jag’s protection. She and Jag are about to discover that they have met before – in the dreams they share.
Neither trusts the other. Neither can survive alone. The secret of those erotic dreams may be all that saves them – if Jag can only accept it. At risk is Karen’s life. And Jag’s immortal soul…
Knights of White: These demon hunters fight for all that is good…
Hi,
First to comment 🙂 Thanx for the blurb… looks very nice. I have never read any of your books… so many good authors come visit this blog!!
I just picked this book up a couple of days ago. Haven’t started on it yet though.
I love to read! I have so many books in my tbr pile, it’s sad. A couple of books that I just read that were good are” My Secret Life by Lori Wilde ( part of a series- The Martini Dares), My Front Page Scandal by Carrie Alexander ( same series) and Brenda Novak’s Dead series- Dead Right, Dead Silence & Dead Giveaway.
Hi Lisa!
Congrats on the new release! THE BEAST WITHIN sounds really good! And that cover is smokin’ hot! Love it.
Well, I’ll recommend MINE TILL MIDNIGHT by Lisa Kleypas. Another wonderful keeper from LK. Also, I’m currently reading the last of Monica McCarty’s Highland trilogy and it (as well as the rest of the series) is fabulous! I recommend all of them as well. 😉
Hi Lisa. The Beast Within sounds great. I love the cover.
I am also read Monica McCarty’s Highlander trilogy and I agree that it is fabulous. Another great book I read recently is Mustang Wild by Stacey Kayne.
Hi Lisa,
Great cover… I always like to know where you guys get those amazing ideas… thanks for sharing 🙂
Hi Lisa,
Yay, another blog to follow! 🙂
I am going to pick up this book this week if I see it in the store! I’ve been waiting for it to come out.
Recently read books that I recommend would be Jess Michaels ‘Everything Forbidden’. It releases on Oct. 30th and it’s fabulous. Another is Sydney Croft ‘Riding the Storm’. And a new author that I just love is Paula Quinn! All of her books I’ve recently read are keepers…Lord of Desire, Lord of Temptation and Lord of Seduction!
Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! You know I have seen Monica’s highlanders pop up a lot of places. I think I need to try them. I do like a sexy highlander!
And thanks everyone on the cover. I was a little nervous about it because the hero is different than the one they put on the cover….see his picture are knightsofwhite.com. Then it looks a little western historical to me and the book isn’t. But then I got the book in my hands and the cover really looks nice in person so I decided I like it! And though the hero doesn’t look exactly like the one in the book he is hot! LOL
THE BEAST WITHIN sounds terrific! I love the cover too. 🙂
Lisa, I am totally in love with that cover and the book (and series) sounds great!!!
I am only reading paranormals this month. I recently read Over Hexed by Vicki Lewis Thompson…a nice change from the dark paranormals…a funny paranormal/fantasy. I really enjoyed it…she has a great sense of humor and plenty of colorful characters.
I always have a book handy, usually some kind of romance story. A couple of my favorite auto-buy series are JD Robb’s, Eve Dallas and Charlaine Harris, Sookie Stackhouse. The three books I just ordered are Sarah McCarty’s, Caine’s Reckoning, Lora Leigh’s, Nauti Nights and LKH’s, Lick of Frost.
Hi Lisa,
Liked your blurb. Just finished Nalini Singh’s Caressed by Ice. Fantastic!
Lisa~~
LOVE the cover…and it looks even better in person!! I can’t wait to get me some more Knights of White. A AWESOME book I’ve recently read is A Passion For Him by Sylvia Day. It’s SOoo good! And I’ve read two of Monica ‘s Highlander books…lol, out of order, Fatin will GASP…and loved them. Just haven’t picked up the third yet. Oh, and I recently was introduced to Lisa Marie Rice, so I’ve been glooming her books.
Good luck with TBW…I can’t wait to see it on the shelf around here!!

love suzanne enoch books.
HI Lisa
Enjoyed the excerpts today! My reccommendation for a book is Lord of the Fading Lands by C.L.Wilson.
Love the cover of your book.
I recommend Die For Me by Karen Rose.
Hi Lisa! Hi Fatin!
I popped over from your blog Lisa. I love the cover too, even if it isn’t an exact representation of the hero, it’s pretty hot! 🙂
I read a lot of everything, with romance reigning supreme as my favorite genre. I love all the subgenres of romance as well. If it’s good, I’ll read it. Here are a few recent books that I would recommend:
Lover Unbound by J.R. Ward (Paranormal Romance)
Decadent by Shayla Black (Erotic Romance)
Hunting the Demon by Jaci Burton (Paranormal Romance)
The Serpent Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt (Historical Romance)
The Boys Next Door by Jennifer Echols (Teen/ Young Adult)
Love Letters from a Duke by Elizabeth Boyle (Historical Romance)
Jinx by Meg Cabot (Teen/ Young Adult)
The Darker Side of Pleasure by Eden Bradley (Erotic Romance)
Dead Girls are Easy by Terri Garey (Paranormal Romance)
Project Date by Kate Perry (Contemporary Romance)
Between the Tides by Patti Callahan Henry (Fiction)
Big Hugs, Zara
I usually love it when the hero ressembles the cover… so nice to visualize I guess!
A good book… I have to say I really like everything written by Jayne Ann Krentz!
Can’t wait to read this, Lisa. Interesting on the background and that lady who says she caught one.
Highly recommend Caressed by Ice (but read the first two in this great series first, Slave to Sensation and Visions of Heat, you’ll appreciate it more), and Lord of the Fading Lands (just got the sequel in the mail, reading it tonight.
Great to have you here Lisa. I am so excited about your book which sounds so good. Right now I am home sick with a nasty cold my one year old baby girl passed on to me. I just finished reading Seducing Simon by Maya Banks which was excellent. I also highly recommend Riding the Storm by Sydney Croft and Shadow of the Wolf by Robin Wren which I also read this month.
Just wanted to stop in and say hi. But this book is rocking good read. I absolutely loved it.
So many great suggestions. I love Krentz and haven’t read her in a while. I think I might give her paranormal name a try. Anyone know how it compares?
I love Sydney Croft. Anyone who hasn’t tried that new release should give it a try! I agree on that one.
And thank you Pam and everyone who said great things about the book, cover, blurb:) I hope it will be liked by many.
I am taking notes. I am in a real reading mode right now. I bought Lora Leighs most recent Breed book and I have JR Ward’s most recent. I’d like to read a good contemporary too. So many choices. It’s hard because covers can be decieving. I hate buying a great looking book that falls flat and I hate missing a great book because the cover is not great! So hearing people talk about books often helps me choose! I go look them up and read at the authors site.
Lisa I can’t wait to read THE BEAST WITHIN!
I’ve been on a paranormal binge this month: Beneath a Blood Red Moon, Kiss Of Darkness and Blood Red by Heather Graham/Shannon Drake) they are all interconnected in some way.
Emma Holly’s FAIRYVILLE was a fantastic read too.
The Beast Within sounds good. I have really enjoyed Vicki Petterssen’s Zodiac series, The Scent of Shadows, and The Taste of Night. Also really enjoyed Lisa Marie Rice’s Dangerous Lover.
Lisa…I love JAK’s Ghost Hunters series. They’re as great as or better than her JAK titles. You have to read them!! The Hunters are awesome, and the dust bunnies just add that special JAK touch.
