Guess what this month is? It’s the blog’s Anniversary/Birthday! I started this blog, with the help of Nancy, last year as part of Romance Reader at Heart. It was to be a book blog for me to talk about books and authors since I love to read. What better way to share the love then to ask authors to be my guests and talk about whatever they wanted? And have giveaways? *G*
To celebrate this milestone, I’ve created a little game with the help of some fantastic authors.
Another Scavenger Hunt. (Feel free to cheer right about now.) *G*
I haven’t gotten all the prizes together yet but one lucky winner will receive a box filled with many many books (at last count, it was almost 20 books.) *G*
All you have to do is find the peach rose that looks like this:
You have to let me know what author’s website it was on PLUS what page it was on. Just giving me the author’s website URL will not work for this hunt. I need BOTH the URL and what page/URL the peach rose was found on. Yes, it’s more work on your part, but the reward is much bigger than the last hunt I did.
Scavenger Hunt will last from today until September 30th. Winner will be announced by October 5th. Winner will have until October 10, 2008 to claim their prize(s). If I don’t hear from them, a new winner will be chosen that night.
This hunt will have you going to several different sites, so please make note of the answers I need for each and every one before you go to the Book Entry Form to fill out the answers. By the time you finish the hunt, you should have 17 answers for me.
I’ll start you off here on the blog with the first website involved in the hunt. I hope you have fun with it and please remember the rules! 
***ETA: I’ve checked out all the websites for the image/link. All are in working order but if you have any problems going from website to website, email me at mad@romancereaderatheart.com and I’ll check and see what’s up.

Ready as ever….got batteries for the flashlights. My eBookwise is all charged up just in case we lose power..the girls got water, snacks, etc yesterday so they’re all ready too. Right now it’s just drizzling…

Wow – scavenger hunt – so… is there any sort of list/way to narrow it down – or it’s only previous guest authors? Or future ones to the end of Sept? :X Sorry I’m being a bit thick. My brain hasn’t been with me for a long time now.

Limecello — It’s all there…once you find the first rose, click on it and it’ll take you to the next site in the hunt and so on and so on…the last site will lead you back here to the entry form so you can fill it up and send it to me.
Limecello – I was wondering the same thing, and figured out about half the authors until, I accidently clicked on the rose and figured it out. I will proudly admit – I’m a techno idiot. *g*
