Since I’ve been basically MIA online for the past two weeks, I’ve decided to do a little giveaway. I had placed an order with a friend who makes bookcovers and they arrived last week. I love them! They’re very cute, don’t you think?
Anyway, I’m giving away two of these bookcovers. Both are the same image & colors. They fit a regular size paperback. If you’d like to be in the running for one of these, just tell me what you’ve been reading the last two weeks. I did more reading than I expected but not as much as I usually read in a two week period. I think, total, it was five books for me.
I’ll pick the winners on Friday, May 23, 2008. Most likely, it’ll be Friday night as I’ll be busy with the girls and their various school stuff during the day.

I haven’t read a lot these past couple of weeks, because real life has gotten in my way. Managed to finish Karen Templeton’s Baby, I’m Yours and Bronwyn Jameson’s The Tycoon’s One Night Revenge, but that’s pretty much it

I have gotten alot of reading done this past two weeks. I read a manga book series called The Devil Does Exist which consists of 11 graphic novels. Then I read Dangerous Tides by Christine Feehan. Now I am reading The Dark Gate by Pamela Palmer.
I’m reading A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. I loaned it from a friend and it’s very good.

Those are such beautiful book covers. I just got done reading anya bast Elemental Witches series. Now I am moving on to The MacCarrick Brothers series by Kresley Cole. I am a speedaholic reader when it comes to books!! I cant wait for the summer to get here.

I have been reading the whole Silhouette Desire series Diamonds Down Under.
I just finished book one of Ann Jacobs Heart of the West series from Ellora’s Cave. I finished a super thriller called The Living Legend by Emma Wayne Porter from Samhain. I’m now going to bite into one of those Oh Yum books from Desiree Holt. After that- who knows? I’m just getting back into the reading groove since I’ve had a tragedy strike in my life. My Dad passed away and now I’m picking up the pieces. Reading is a great escape for me. I read all the other ladies’ reads and have found some to pick up next!

I’ve been reading Jeaniene Frost’s books Halfway to the Grave & One Foot from the Grave. I can’t wait for the next in the series.
I haven’t been reading as much lately spending more time outside also trying to piece a quilt but have finished Madeline Hunter’s Secrets of Surrender and reading The Magnate’s Marriage Demand by Robyn Grady.
Hot Mama by Jennifer Estep. It is grand fun and could easily be a standalone read. But I think the first book Karma Girl is wonderful and not to be missed.
